HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY ORION!!!

Wow, it is so hard to believe a year has passed already!  Where did the time go?  My boy Orion and I were born on the same day, May 20, so it is special to me that we share this day.  Our friends at "The Sphynx Retreat" were so awesome to send Orion a Happy Birthday card which he proudly sat for a picture, amazingly enough since he rarely stops moving!

It would have also have been Rupert's 1st birthday as well. There is not a day that goes by that I do not think about him.  I sure do miss him, but at least I can look back upon our memories and smile instead of cry.

Hellllloooo Monty!

Saturday could not come soon enough!  I was so excited to meet Monty and was really, really hoping he would like me as much as I like him already.  When I first went into the kitten room, I sat down and just let the kits do their own thing.  I wanted him to come over on his own, if at all.  He came over after ten minutes of playing with his brothers and sister.  He strolled up my leg, licked my fingers and sat in my lap.  He is such a sweet guy, I love him.  He has Rupert's eyes, I am sure of it.  He has a kink at the very end of his tail, but it will unkink, then kink again!  Weird, but unique and cute - I like it!  Just before I left, Monty came over to the scrapbook I made of Poopy.  He began sniffing the cover picture of Poopy and pawing at it, looking up at me and gently pawing at it again - It was really sweet.  He is the one, I know it and I know Poopy would approve.  I can not wait until he comes home.  He is 10 weeks old now, so another 5 or 6 weeks and he comes home!!!!
